I decided on a visit to see her as it was a kitchen that could be completely taken apart and painted in the workshop.
On arriving it was plain to see that that was just the case, the frame, doors, drawer fronts, plinths and even wine rack were all removable.

The kitchen just needed a full degrease! 20 years old, well looked after and well used.
These oak kitchens are fantastic to work on as the sense of satisfaction into transforming a dark kitchen into a light kitchen is great. Thus giving a complete new look and feel to what was essentially quite a dark room.
After degreasing a good sand was in order to put a key on the surface for the Tikkurila paint system that I was about to apply in Gardenia.
I could tell from the initial primer that the results would be excellent. The paint gripped to the existing lacquer and was superb.

After the painting was completed in the workshop, the kitchen was taken back to site and re fitted. A few adjustments and tweaks were made and the results speak for themselves.
On the whole a very satisfied customer in the West Midlands and a couple of referrals too.
