They were following up a client who Kevin had worked with into having it repainted. These beautiful kitchens are also at the high end of the kitchen and furniture market. They are without a doubt a major investment, so the client was looking for the right team to repaint it.

Samples
We had a meeting with the client to first and foremost discuss colour palettes and also the final look he wanted to achieve. Subsequently, samples and sheen levels were produced to give a better understanding of what the final finish would look like. The client decided he didn’t want a glazed finish but opted for a single colour. An accent colour would be used on the island. A 30% sheen level was agreed as the client wanted the mouldings and detail work to be highlighted by the sheen.

Painting a Clive Christian Kitchen
With all the samples and scheduling agreed, it was down to work! Upon arrival the first thing we do in particular is to protect worktops, floor areas and areas not being painted. We also use lots of different specialist primers depending on the style of the kitchen. Once the kitchen was prepared we use an High adhesion primer as nothing beats a great foundation to work on. The final coats used are especially formulated for kitchens and furniture and at a 30% sheen give’s a silky smooth finish.
